The Tracing Board is a representation of emblems and symbols for the assistance of the Master in giving a lecture. They vary according to the Degree and have taken on a life of their own, which has had some startling repercussions in Ritual work. They are on display at the centre of the Lodge on the Axis Mundi running through the mosaic pavement.For us it is a reminder of the SALOMON temple symbolism.
